Fossil Ridge

The Fossil Ridge Trail is northwest of Sargents. The best way to access the Fossil Ridge Trail and side trails is via Willow Creek Road or Gold Creek Road, both of which are north of Parlin on the road to Pitkin. Willow Creek Road (FR822) is .5 mile south of Ohio City; turn at the green gate. Parking is in turnouts along the road after you pass through private property. Gold Creek Road (FR771) begins at Ohio City. Parking is in turnouts along the road and at Comanche CG (2 miles) or Gold Creek CG (7 miles).
