Fossil Ridge Problem - as of 6/28/06

The USFS issued a letter on 8/31/2005 identifying a problem; a private land owner erected gates on the Fossil Ridge Trail where the trail enters his property. On June 25, 2006, I discovered a further closure where another land owner has erected a gate on the Willow Creek Trail where the trail enters his property. This is the southernmost private property shown on the map above.

The USFS has confirmed that this action is known to them as well.
