Here is the yearly calendar showing fall hunting dates for places I ride in CO and NM. The calendar helps me decide where and when to ride, so I can avoid, as much as possible, any conflicts with hunters. I make every attempt to get the dates right, but I've been known to make a misteak now and then ;-) If you find an error, let me know, and I'll fix it.

Non-hunting dates are shown in color: turquoise for NM and yellow for CO.

NM - I only check dates for hunting in units 6A and 6C, which includes the Jemez. Other dates apply in other areas. I also do not show bear or other animal hunt dates; only deer and elk are shown.

CO - I do not include units east of I-25, private land, Wilderness areas, units in northern and northwestern CO, or in small isolated areas outside our primary ride areas. I also do not show bear or other animal hunt dates; only deer and elk are shown.
(Note - I have removed information about Rand units 17, 18, and 681 because many motorized trails in these areas are closed during hunting season.)
