The Fourmile Area is a designated OHV area east and southeast of Buena Vista. The area south of Highway 24 has a very good selection of ATV routes and one single-track trail as well. There are very good opportunities for primitive camping and the area is open almost year-round. Snow during the winter often melts very quickly but access is dicey in December and January.
