Taylor Park is in central Colorado, north of Gunnison. There are many miles of trails and lots of scenic views in the area. Crested Butte and the Cement Creek area with its many trails are west of Taylor Park.

Taylor Park Trading Post (overlooking Taylor Park Reservoir) has a store, gas pumps, cabins, and a cafe. All cabins have electricity, full kitchen, and showers.
